From November 2019 to January 2020, I was fortunate and crazy enough to ski from Hercules Inlet on the "coast" of Antarctica to the South Pole.  It was a 53 day journey covering 1133km and an experience I will never forget.

The posts below are the updates from trip right back to my training (which is why some are posted by my husband).  I used the trip to raise funds for the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK after a dear friend was diagnosed with this rare disease.  She sadly passed away when I was on the ice.  You can find out more details about the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK here.

The trip raised £20,000 for the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK to support the incredible work they do to support woman going through treatment for this rare and aggressive cancer.
