89.4ºS, 22.4km covered
A half-century of days on the ice and just over 60km to go. Great conditions up on the polar plateau again with blue skies.
Being so close to the finish line is bringing new challenges – although the team have made great pace there’s always a bit of frustration around wanting to go faster, even up at high altitude and still with a load to pull.
Fingers crossed the forecast remains stable for the week and keeps a smooth journey to the pole.
Nearly there Lucy keep going.Very proud of you lots of love
